Describing People – চেহারা ও গুণাবলি

We use words to describe people. These words are called adjectives.
আমরা যখন কাউকে বর্ণনা করি, তখন আমরা যেসব শব্দ ব্যবহার করি, সেগুলোকে বলে adjectives (বিশেষণ)।

1. Physical Appearance (চেহারা)

These words describe how someone looks. (এই শব্দগুলো কাউকে দেখতে কেমন, তা বলে)

• Tall – লম্বা
• Short – খাটো
• Slim – পাতলা
• Fat – মোটা
• Beautiful – সুন্দর
• Old – বুড়ো / বয়স্ক
• Young – তরুণ

Example: She is tall and beautiful.
সে লম্বা এবং সুন্দর।

2. Personality (ব্যক্তিত্ব)

These words tell us how someone behaves or thinks. (কেউ কেমন আচরণ করে বা চিন্তা করে)

• Kind – দয়ালু
• Smart – বুদ্ধিমান
• Funny – মজার
• Honest – সৎ
• Hardworking – পরিশ্রমী
• Friendly – বন্ধুবৎসল

সে বুদ্ধিমান এবং দয়ালু।

3. Feelings (মনের অবস্থা)

These words tell how someone feels now. (এই শব্দগুলো বলে কেউ এখন কেমন অনুভব করছে)

• Happy – খুশি
• Sad – দুঃখিত
• Angry – রাগান্বিত
• Tired – ক্লান্ত
• Excited – উত্তেজিত

Try to describe your family and friends. Use 2–3 adjectives.
আপনার পরিবার ও বন্ধুদের বর্ণনা দেওয়ার চেষ্টা করুন। ২–৩টি বিশেষণ ব্যবহার করুন।

I am friendly and honest.
আমি বন্ধুবৎসল এবং সৎ।
